Valley View Excavation has been in business since 2007. Our two main focus areas are excavation and hardscaping. We do a lot of sewer line excavation and the town of Plainville, Connecticut has trusted us for their sewer line municipal work. We take pride in getting the job right the first time and only using the highest quality of materials.

When not excavation you’ll find us building patios and occasionally doing outdoor kitchens. We do smaller jobs that many larger excavation companies don’t want to tackle. We put as much attention to detail in our patio paver installation projects as we do when building an outdoor kitchen.

Joined the Team: March 2019

Expertise: Josh brings a high level of energy and technical skill to every job site. Since joining us five years ago, he has become a go-to for complex drainage solutions and foundation prep.

Off the Clock: Josh lives and breathes horsepower. If it’s a loud truck, he’s interested. When he isn’t working on his own rigs, he’s out hunting.

Kevin | Foreman & Operator

Joined the Team: March 2018

Expertise: With over six years at Valley View, Kevin has mastered the art of precision digging. Whether he’s navigating tight residential quarters or managing large-scale grading, his focus is always on efficiency and safety.

Off the Clock: When he’s not in the cab of an excavator, you’ll likely find Kevin deep in the woods—he’s an avid hunter who appreciates the great outdoors.

Phil | Truck Driver

Joined the Team: April 2025

Expertise: While Phil is a newer face at Valley View, he is a true veteran of the road. With over 30 years of heavy hauling experience, Phil ensures that equipment and materials arrive safely and on time, every time.

Off the Clock: Phil stays active year-round. In the winter, you’ll find him on his snowmobile, but his favorite “job” is cheering from the sidelines at his grandkids’ sporting events.
